In 1990, our journey began in Haputale, Sri Lanka, when we stumbled upon a tea estate in need of love and care.
Nostalgic for the simplicity and abundance of our grandparents’ way of life—a life intertwined with nature—we were determined to return to farming, but this time, to do it differently: organically and sustainably.
Having grown up in tea gardens and being descendants of this vibrant agricultural heritage, we stepped onto Greenfield Estate not just as farmers, but as stewards of the land and its people.
What started as a personal odyssey quickly evolved into a mission to create a sustainable organic oasis that nourishes the earth, empowers communities, and embodies the principles we hold dear:
Ethical to its People: Ensuring fair pay and education for our communities.
Organic to its Land: Cultivating without chemicals, honoring the health of our soil.
